The ‘Premier Candidate Marketing Plan’ (PCMP) is De Winter’s flagship service for Candidates. In this formalised programme, developed from a decade of experience, De Winter undertakes to promote exceptional or ‘premier’ candidates to the NZ IT market place extensively and exclusively.

De Winter’s success with the PCMP programme capitalises on two factors – the company’s knowledge of the IT Industry and the highly focused marketing effort undertaken by the consultants involved.

The NZ IT market is small by international standards and in this environment it makes little sense for candidates to scatter their CV’s to multiple agencies.

Ironically, a ‘scatter gun approach’ devalues the perceived worth of candidates and may well result in candidates being considered for fewer opportunities.

In our experience the best approach is to select one EXPERIENCED Consultant who knows the market and has the ability, reputation and energy to represent the candidate professionally to the widest range of potential employers.

Indeed, in order to gain the COMMITMENT of the Consultant it is important that the candidate demonstrates their commitment to the process. While the PCMP programme is running it is in effect a virtual partnership between the candidate and the consultant.

For this reason, we will only accept candidates onto our ‘PCMP’ where we are confident that:

  • We can help
  • The candidate is prepared to make the commitment to support the programme

As a consequence we are unable to accept candidates onto the PCMP who have distributed their CV’s to multiple agencies during the past six months.
